How to play truth or dare
- Choose the categories: Kids, Friends, Family, or Icebreakers. You can mix several.
- To keep track of turns, type the players' names, one per line. The app shows whose turn it is.
- The player picks "Truth" (answer a question honestly) or "Dare" (do a fun challenge). With "Random", the app decides.
- Not a fan of the prompt? Press "Swap" for another one of the same type.
- Press "Next player" and keep going. Prompts don't repeat until every one in the chosen categories has come up.
Truly family-friendly
Many truth or dare games online include adult questions or risky dares. Everything here is original and written for kids, families, friends, and classrooms: no intimate questions, no dangerous stunts, no gross food challenges, no touching other people, and no dares designed to embarrass anyone.
Every group is different, so we suggest three house rules: anyone can pass without explaining, dares only happen if they're safe where you are, and nobody makes fun of anyone's answers.

Ideas to make it more fun
- Play in teams: if someone passes, their team can take the dare for them.
- Use a timer for dares with a time limit.
- In class, use only Icebreakers and Kids to help a new group get to know each other.
- Decide who starts by spinning the wheel with everyone's names or flipping a coin.

Are there any adult questions?
No. Every question and dare is suitable for all ages, from school-age kids to grandparents.
How many prompts are there?
80 in total: 10 truths and 10 dares in each of the four categories. None repeat until all prompts in the chosen categories have come up.
What if someone doesn't want to answer?
They can say "pass" or press "Swap" for another prompt. The point is for everyone to have fun.
Does it work for classroom or team-building activities?
Yes. The Icebreakers category has questions and dares designed to help a new group get to know each other comfortably.
How is the prompt chosen?
At random, using your browser's cryptographic generator, among the prompts in the chosen categories that haven't come up yet.
