How to shuffle a list
Paste your list into the box, one item per line (up to 1000): names, chores, songs, questions, or anything you need to order. Press "Shuffle list" and the numbered result appears on the right. You can reshuffle as many times as you like.
"Copy result" copies the list with its order numbers, ready to paste into a chat or document. If an item appears twice by mistake, "Remove duplicate items" keeps it only once.
How random is the order?
The list is shuffled with the Fisher-Yates algorithm and the browser's cryptographic generator. With this method, every possible order has exactly the same probability.
There are a lot of them: 10 items can be arranged in 3,628,800 different orders. Some tools take shortcuts, such as sorting with random comparisons, which quietly favor certain orders; Fisher-Yates avoids that bias.

Draws with several prizes
Shuffling the whole list is a transparent way to award several prizes: the first name wins the top prize, the second gets the next one, and so on. It is equivalent to drawing names one by one without putting them back, with the advantage that everyone sees the full order at once.
Announce beforehand how many prizes there are and in what order they are awarded, and keep a screenshot of the result as proof.

How many items can I shuffle?
Up to 1000 items, one per line.
Can an item appear twice?
No. Each line appears once in the result. You will only see repeats if you typed them and turned off "Remove duplicate items".
Can I use it for giveaways?
Yes. The first names in the shuffled list are the winners, in order. It is ideal when there are several prizes and you want to show the whole result at once.
How is it different from the wheel?
The wheel picks one winner per spin and is more visual. The list randomizer gives the full order in one click and handles much longer lists.
Is my list saved?
No. The list is processed only in your browser and cleared when you reload the page.
