RandomPlay doesn't take or process payments; it only helps you keep track. If you run a public raffle or one with valuable prizes, check your local rules.

How to use the raffle sheet

  1. Type the title, prize, price per number, and draw date. Choose whether the raffle has 25, 50, or 100 numbers.
  2. Each time someone buys a number, tap it on the sheet and type their name. It turns yellow as reserved.
  3. When they pay, tick Paid and the number turns green, so you can see at a glance who still owes you.
  4. Share the picture of the sheet on WhatsApp or social media so everyone sees which numbers are still free, or copy the list of available numbers.
  5. Print the sheet if you want a paper copy, and on draw day press Draw the winner to pick the number at random.

How to run a 100-number raffle

The 100-number raffle, from 00 to 99, is a popular way to raise money among family, coworkers, or neighbors: for a school trip, a cause, a party, or to sell something you no longer use. It works because everyone picks a favorite number and the math is simple: the price per number times 100 is what you raise if every number sells.

Before you start selling, decide on the prize, the price, and the draw date, and state them clearly in the message you share. If the prize costs $60, selling numbers at $2 raises $200 when the sheet fills up. Also decide what happens if not every number sells: the draw goes ahead among the sold numbers, or the date moves.

Some raffles use the last two digits of an official lottery draw as the winning number. Others hold the draw live. If you'd rather do it yourself, the tool picks a number at random among the reserved ones or among all of them, and you can share your screen so everyone watches.

Keep track of reservations and payments

  • Yellow means reserved but unpaid, and green means paid. The counter at the top shows how many numbers you've sold.
  • The sheet is saved in your browser, so you can close the page and keep adding names another day on the same phone or computer.
  • Before sharing, decide whether the picture shows names or only marks taken numbers. Many people prefer not to publish full names.
  • If someone changes their mind, tap their number and press Release number to make it available again.

For a transparent draw

  • Publish the full sheet before the draw so everyone can check their number.
  • Hold the draw live, on a video call or a stream, and don't repeat it if you dislike the result.
  • Decide in advance whether the draw includes every number or only the sold ones, and announce it.
  • Keep a screenshot of the result and the final sheet to settle any questions.

Frequently asked questions

Are the names stored online?

No. The names and the sheet are saved only in your browser's storage. Nothing is sent to a server; the only things that leave your device are the picture or text you choose to share.

Does a 100-number raffle run from 00 to 99 or from 1 to 100?

From 00 to 99, which is the usual format because it matches the last two digits of lottery draws. Raffles with 25 and 50 numbers start at 01.

Can I use it on another phone?

The sheet lives in the browser where you created it. To let others see it, share the picture or the list of free numbers; to keep adding names, use the same device.

How is the winning number chosen?

When you press Draw the winner, the tool picks a random number with your browser's cryptographic generator, among the reserved numbers or among all of them, depending on the option you tick. Every number has the same chance.

Does RandomPlay take or handle the raffle money?

No. The tool is free and only helps you keep track. You arrange payments directly with each person.
